Chief Enthusiasm Officer
John Copous
John worked down the street and was a patient for 14 years before becoming the enthusiasm officer for LifeSmiles by Randy Mitchmore D.D.S. John loves his job so much he likes to tell people that he wasn’t allowed to leave.
John is usually the first person you will meet on the phone. Walking through the door is an experience itself as you are always welcomed with a warm smile and a hello.

Outside of the Practice:
John is a lover of the great outdoors and enjoys nothing better than sharing a beach house with family and friends. Not one to shy away from entertaining, you can expect to see John throwing a BBQ or soiree so that he can share his amateur stand-up comic skills with the party goers, and rumor has it those skills are pretty good.Bucket List Item:
To live in a foreign country for one year, somewhere near the beach. Take some time to write an epic love novel loosely based on my large Italian family.Your Hero:
“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”. While fictional, the character incorporates admirable qualities from real-life people. She believes in the goodness of everyone, keeps on going, and moves forward despite any obstacle. She is able to find humor in other people’s quirks, accepts them, and makes sense of it all. Plus, she’s a little outrageous too.Ambassador
Sandra Smith
As a star athlete for the Special Olympics, Sandra wears the LifeSmiles shirt, jacket and name badge with pride as she makes sure the patient rooms and coffee bar are stocked with all of the essentials for patients.
Those must haves include thoughtful gifts and other items from LifeSmiles by Randy Mitchmore D.D.S. Sandra is also responsible for decorating the dental practice in Houston for the holidays.

Outside the Practice
Sandra enjoys the mall with friends and is always up for a dance. A fan of fishing she doesn’t shy away from casting a line or two. LifeSmiles in Houston is proud of her accomplishments that include second place in the 2020 State Volleyball Tournament but her talents don’t stop there. As an accomplished vocalist, you will often find Sandra singing with the church choir and attending international performances. If you ask Sandra what her Spirit Animal is she offers no hesitation saying, “Butterflies,” because, “I like them and they are pretty.”Queen of Charisma
Toni Wilson
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer,” says Dental Smiles Queen of Charisma Toni Wilson. If you ask Toni what she loves about coming to work the first thing that comes out of mouth is, “The beautiful scenery.”
Being passionate about dental care and patient comfort, Toni’s warm and charismatic personality makes everyone feel at home in a safe and caring environment.

Outside of the Practice
Toni loves to spend time with her family. She certainly has her hands full with her husband and sons.
Toni’s beautiful garden allows her the chance to regroup and rewind while perfecting her already green thumb.

Toni would love to travel the world exploring other regions and cultures while sampling the great cuisine and customs of each country.

Joaquin Galaviz
Smiling is contagious for Joaquin. He works chairside with Dr. Mitchmore during surgical and treatment appointments. Patients respond quickly to his confidence and compassion.

Joaquin is passionate about singing in his church choir. He’s close to his family, friends and enjoys socializing with them after church.
Dental Hygienist
Sally May Franklin
This dental hygienist loves working with Dr. Randy Mitchmore and the rest of the team from LifeSmiles in Houston. While there are numerous things she loves about her job fun is probably at the top of the list.
The mind, body and spirit connection is something everyone on the team strives to perfect in a calm and caring environment for patients of all ages.

As a creative writer, Sally loves the outdoors where you will often find her spending time with her children and grandchildren.
On weekends you’ll find Sally hiking or biking for some fresh air and adventure or just relaxing after a busy week with the LifeSmiles in Houston team.

Long and vast, Sally plans to check off every item on her bucket list including, “Going to Europe, exploring every US state, and zip-lining.”
