Share a Smile
Post Your Smile to Support the Houston Food Bank
How Share a Smile Started
In 2020, knowing many Houstonians had to live with painful dental issues and food shortages during quarantine, LifeSmiles by Dr. Randy Mitchmore readily opened its doors in May and launched the “Share a Smile” program to help lift spirits, offer pro bono services to the needy and raise money for the Houston Food Bank.
Dr. Mitchmore works throughout the year offering dental services through Give Back a Smile program for domestic abuse survivors, Share a Smile and Smiles for Soldiers, that offers pro bono services to Veterans who need help.
Summer Food Drive
Your smile can help feed Houston families
For every patient who schedules an appointment between May 15 through September 30 at LifeSmiles, you’ll receive a crafted smile designed by Patient Ambassador and Special Olympics athlete, Sandra Smith.
Patients who post a smiling selfie on Facebook with the hand-made card from Sandra and tag @theHoustonFoodBank and @LifeSmiles.RandyMitchmore will support the food bank.
For every post tagged correctly, LifeSmiles will donate $25.00 (equivalent to 75 meals) to the Houston Food Bank. The goal of Share a Smile is to serve over 3,000 meals by the end of the summer. To participate, please schedule an appointment before September 30, 2020.

Don’t procrastinate during a pandemic
It’s important to schedule a dental checkup this summer for deep cleanings, X-Rays, periodontal care and/or fluoride treatments before the flu season hits. More than ever before, maintaining good dental hygiene is important, especially when we are vulnerable.
Bad bacteria, including streptococcus mutans and porphyromonas gingivalis can colonize on teeth and gums, which may cause health problems. With proper dental care bad bacteria can be eliminated before it becomes a problem. Dr. Randy Mitchmore has 40+ years of dental experience and specializes in a variety of general and cosmetic dentistry procedures, including high-end, natural-looking dental implants. He has proudly served his community and surrounding areas as a volunteer, business professional and advocate for human rights.
Contact LifeSmiles at 713-592-9300.
Open Monday through Friday by appointment only.
